I'm writing a test program for OpenGL on Win95 and I
have a slight problem. I wrote a 3D Studio ASC file
loader that stores both the vertices and face info
in an array of structs. The problem though is that
I want to pass it straight through to the rendering
pipeline (glBegin(GL_TRIANGLES),glEnd). I _DON'T want
to use display lists because the models will be
dynamically modified under a skeletal animation system.
Vertex arrays are pointless for this experiment because
I'm converting stuff over to triangle strips. The
question is: WHAT IS THE _SIMPLEST_ WAY TO LOAD AND
RENDER A 3D STUDIO ASC FILE UNDER these CONDITIONS.

SIDEBAR: Has anybody else tried the Rendition OpenGL
ICD with the v1000gl.uc instead of the
v2000gl.uc? IT WORKS! Hope it stays that way.
Then all of us V1000 owners will have an ICD.
